Marco Trattoria is a family run Italian Restaurant offering a creative menu made with 25 years of knowledge and the best of quality ingredients by Chef and owner Marc Dambax. Marc changes his menu with the seasons and many of the ingredients we purchase from local farms here in Brevard and surrounding areas in North Carolina, always serching for the freshest.

Marc Dambax and his wife, Shellie, opened Marco's in Feb of 2009. This is their third restaurant after Market East Bistro in Charleston S.C.and Hobonb in Brevard, focusing this time on Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, a much needed and requested food for this small town. An Authentic wood burning pizza oven was added to this old mountain home, bringing the classical Neapolitan pizza to Brevard.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, walls are filled with paintings and steel cut art pieces made by Shellie. Shellie has also made a lot of the dishes, that are used in the restaurant, at a local pottery store, Duckpond pottery.

In the back room, perfect for larger parties, wooden crates stacked high along the wall are filled with local artist and crafters goodies along with displaying businesses in our community. The outdoor patio is an enjoyable place to dine in the spring through fall. During the winter months a large fireplace and oak communal table greets you as you enter the old refurbished home. Wether you want to enjoy a glass of wine and appeitizer while meeting up with new people, or old friends, at the communal table, or you indulge yourself with a fine meal in our dining room, you are welcomed here.

You will be delighted by the smell, enticed by the flavors, pleased by the art and comforted by the staff. One step inside and you feel as you are home. Marco Trattoria is our labor of love and we hope you come visit us soon.
